A showroom page for every car
Not a row in a table. He lands on the car he googled, full screen, and the button to ring you is on the same screen as the price.
Premium sites for UK used-car dealers. Built for the ten seconds where a buyer decides whether your forecourt is worth the drive.
The google moment
AutoTrader did its job. It put your car in front of him, next to eleven others just like it, and he picked yours.
Then he did what everybody does. He typed your name into Google, because he is about to put cash in his pocket and drive across a city to meet a stranger.
What he found was a Facebook page last posted to in 2022. Or a template site with three photos and a form nobody reads. Or a page built for a desktop screen that he is pinching and dragging on his phone at nine o'clock at night.
He did not ring to complain. He went back to the results, and found the next car.
And it's fine.. we get it. You're running a forecourt. You're moving stock, chasing payments, taking part-exchanges in the rain. You are not sitting there at nine at night wondering what your website looks like on somebody's phone.
But that is exactly when he is looking at it.
You are not competing on the car any more. He has chosen the car. You are competing on whether you look like the safest place to buy it.
The work
E.K Elite Motors sells used cars off Balham High Road. Every car on that forecourt has its own showroom page, its own film, and a call button that never leaves the screen.
The showroom page. One car, one page, filmed in a studio it has never been in.
The same car, cut for a phone. Because that is where he is looking.
What you get
Not a row in a table. He lands on the car he googled, full screen, and the button to ring you is on the same screen as the price.
Your best stock gets a dark-studio inspection film, cut wide for a laptop and tall for a phone. Every one is tagged Illustrative render on the page, because that is a legal disclosure and it keeps you clean.
On every page, and the WhatsApp message writes itself: the year, the model and the reg he is looking at. You know which car before you say hello.
On a phone, a bar sits at the bottom of the screen with the car and the price in it. Tap it and it opens into Call and WhatsApp. He never has to scroll back up to find your number.
Your partner named, the wording correct, the FCA disclosure done properly. No rate goes on the page unless you have confirmed it in writing.
A live map banner pinned on your actual postcode, with a Directions button that opens straight into Google Maps on his phone. He stops ringing to ask where you are.
Structured data tells Google you are a dealer, where you are, and what every car on the forecourt costs. When he searches your name he finds you, not a directory page selling him a rival down the road.
Send the photos, the reg and the price. The car is on the site that day, with its page, its spec and its buttons. No portal, no logins, no waiting on your web guy to come back off holiday.
How it works
Fifteen minutes on the phone. What you turn over, where you are, who does your finance, how many cars you want filmed. No deck, no discovery workshop.
You send the photos, the regs and the prices you are already sending everywhere else. Every reg gets checked against the record, so the spec on the page is the spec on the car.
Your domain, your hosting account, your site. Your email keeps working the whole way through the switch. If you ever want to walk away and take it with you, you can.
Proof
Every agency site you looked at this week had a strip of logos across the middle of it. This one has a dealer, because that is how many we have built. Open it on your phone and judge it the way your buyer would.
Balham High Road, London SW12
Full rebuild. Showroom page per car, studio films on the hero stock, finance page, map banner, one-tap call and WhatsApp throughout.
ekelitemotors.co.uk →Your forecourt goes here, and it gets the same build.
Plain answers
Yes, and the hosting account too. Both are in your name from the start. We build into your account, not ours, so nothing about your business sits behind a login only we have.
Keep them. AutoTrader is good at putting your car in front of somebody who has not heard of you, and that is what you pay it for. Your own site does the other half of the job: it turns the person who has seen the car into somebody willing to travel to you.
Send the photos, the reg and the price. The car goes up that day with its own page, its spec and its buttons. Send the originals rather than a compressed WhatsApp photo and it looks the way it should.
The build is not the slow part. Your domain can be. If it sits with a host that will not let you change the settings, moving it takes days and we plan around that, and your existing site and email carry on working until the new one is ready to switch on.
No. Every mail record gets copied across before anything is switched, and we check it after. Breaking a dealer's email is worse than a late site, so this part gets done slowly and checked twice.
No, and the page says so. The film is a render of your car built from your photos, and it carries an Illustrative render tag on screen wherever it plays. The photographs in the gallery are your photographs, of your actual car, untouched.
Most are not, and it is fixable. Send us what you have at full size and we work with it. What matters more is that every car has the same treatment, so the cheap one on the end of the row does not look like an afterthought.
Every forecourt is different. Enquire and we will call you.
Enquire
Tell us where you are and what you are selling. You get a call back from the person who builds it, and the first one is fifteen minutes about your stock, not a pitch.
Keep an eye on your phone. These are arranged by hand, so it is a mobile that comes up, not a call centre.
